Leisure World, Maryland with its reasonably priced housing and choices of activities was highlighted in an article by Lauren Sherman on Forbes.com.
I am glad that researchers agree with my assertion that one can get excellent value buying a condo in Leisure World, Maryland these days.

I know that there are lots of apartments for sale in Leisure World, but 15100 Glade Drive 11 1-C a two bedroom two bath at $115,500, is the lowest priced apartment with over 1,200 square feet! The next one is priced at $134,000, and much much higher.
We had at least one showing a week in the last 90 days, but no offer, yet.
There must be someone out there who appreciates a great buy!

This weekend I received an invitation from Val Wooly to visit her exhibit and others at Open Studio in Kensington. I invited a few friends and we made it a fun afternoon.
We discovered a number of artists using different medias some totally new to us, such as Eric Finzi, who is also a surgeon!
When we saw a sign "Uncommon Furniture", I was curious and we walked into Jan Marfyak studio. Jan had lots of stories for us about his family and his work.
We learned about petrified wood sculpturing and more. Since we all craved a glass of ice coffee, we headed to the Kensington antique Village.
Unfortunately, we could not get a real ice coffee with a scoop of ice cream; the kind our mothers would serve at 4:00 O'clock with cake. The local ice coffee consisted of coffee with ice cubes.
Regardless, we had a great time discussing the local real estate market and shared life experiences.
DUFIEF MILL ESTATES: We had 60 groups of visitors at our Open House at 14 Paramus Court! I have not seen that many buyers since 2005.
With a supply of only 2 months, I have no doubt that 20878 has entered a sellers market. The supply is lower in Dufief Mill Estates. There were numerous buyers ready to buy, this past Sunday.
One guest mentioned that his agent told him to wait and see on another home they liked and that home sold right away. Well, the same happened yesterday.
The home was under contract in 24 hours.
My suggestion is to evaluate the home you chose, get your agent to help determine its fair value and make an offer. Some owners prefer to work with the first offer. If you are the one, chances are you will avoid a bidding war.
Valuable information to share with buyers and sellers.
The economic stimulus plan signed into law in February included a financial incentive for first-time buyers -- an $8,000 tax credit, that unlike past versions does not need to be repaid. Combined with historically low interest rates and more affordable home prices, the tax credit has made the decision to purchase real estate an easy choice for many buyers.
Review the following information to see if you are eligible to take advantage of the tax credit:
The Gallery at White Flint, Rockville - North Bethesda:

I did it! I decided to join Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin after I attend today's CRS seminar on social media. Gee Dunsten gave a great presentation. He recommended spending only 20 minutes a day. How does he do that?
I could not wait to get home and start working on the profiles. When I got home, I found an invitation to join Twitter from a friend. It all seems like being in another country, as I have no idea how these things work. I am sure I will figure it out pretty fast.
Four hours later, when an office collegue found me on Twitter and asked what I was doing, I responded and the smile on my face was so big! I felt so proud of my "big" accomplishment.
Life is good!
